A retirement celebration for Sister Carol Fisher will be
held on Thursday, March 18th from 1-2 om at the Genesee
County Community Action Resourced Department, 601 N.
Saginaw.
 Cost is $10; please see flier for RSVP information.

Sympathy is extended to Sister Imogene McDaniel on the loss
of her sister, Esther James, and to Sister LaVerne Bond on the loss of her uncle in
California.  Both services were held over the weekend.

Congratulations go out to Cody and Barbi Melvin who were married on Saturday!  
May God bless them as they begin the life together.





MINISTRY NEWS                        

Youth Group Meeting will be held on Sunday, March 14th at 6:30.

The Marriage Enrichment Ministry is having a Dinner & Movie outing on Saturday, April 3rd.  All married and engaged couples should see Sister Dawson for
information.  The cost is $27 per person and monies are due ASAP so that tickets
can be ordered.


Parents P.L.U.S. meeting will take place on Sunday, March 21st at North Central.  
All parents, grandparents, guardians and concerned members are encouraged to
attend.


Ladies' Day Food Committee members are asked to meet with Sister Willis after
morning worship on next Sunday.

BROTHERHOOD NEWS

Male Spirituality Workshop for men of all ages will be hosted by the Westside congregation in Detroit, March 19-21.  Terrance McClain will be the presenter.  See
the flier for workshop times.

A Youth Gospel Meeting hosted by the East Chestnut congregation in Fort Wayne,
IN will be held on March 19-21.  Guest Speaker is Tim Anderson of the Kingsley
Terrace congregation in Indianapolis.  See flier for additional information.

The 66th Annual National Lectureship will take place March 30th through April
4th in Philadelphia, PA, at the Downtown Marriott.  Theme:
"The Building of a New
Nation”
Registration: $165 per person.

Glass City (Toledo) Church of Christ's Ladies' Inspirational Day is Saturday,
March 27th featuring Renee West from Hampton, VA as the keynote speaker.  
Theme:
"Excuse the Mess...We're Still Under Construction"  Breakfast begins at 8
am and the program begins at 9 am.

Ladies Day program will be hosted by Carpenter Road on Saturday, April 17th.  
Registration will begin at 8:00 am.  Breakfast will be served at 8:30, and the program
will begin at 10:00.

Your Soul in the Lord"
 Speaker: Darlene Mungo, Annapolis Park

The 25th Annual Ladies Retreat will be held April 22nd - 25th at the Hyatt
Regency in Jacksonville, FL.  
Theme: "Christian Women: On a Mission"
