Herman Bond, a native of Tennessee, is married to Ola
June Bond.  They are blessed with five children; Roscoe,
Sharon Renee, Letitia, Ramona Sophia (deceased), and
Sonya June, eight grandchildren and two great
grand-children.  Brother Bond retired from General Motors
as a skilled tradesman and Sister Bond is a retired teacher.
Roscoe Bond is married to the love of his life, Lavern.
He is a skilled tradesman at General Motors and Sister
Bond is a school administrator (principal) for the Flint
Community Schools.  They are the proud parents of
two adult children; Elena of St. Louis, MO, a PhD
candidate, and  Justen of Flint, an engineer.  Brother
Bond is the director of the North Central Chorus and
Sister Bond teaches youth Bible study.
Charles Kevin Johnson, the son of Charles and the
late Evella Johnson, is married to Meladie D. Johnson
and they are the proud parents of two sons; Kevin L.
and Mario D. Johnson.  Brother Johnson is an
automotive representative for Randy Wise Automotive
Group, but his favorite positions in life are teacher of
God's word, and loving husband and father to his
family (but he does find time to play a little golf).

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor
principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height,
nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
(Romans 8:38-39)  This scripture guides
the heart and mind of Brother Bond as he serves the saints who gather at North
Central.
Singing praises to the Lord stirs his emotions and James 2:17, 18  “ Even so faith, if
it hath not works, is dead, being alone.  Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith,
and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my
faith by my works”
sustains him in his Christian walk.
“We are one big family serving God” is the mantra that sustains him in his work
in the Lord’s church.
